 Rick Mastroianni manages the library for the Newseum and its parent organization, the Freedom Forum. He has worked in all areas of exhibit development research, news research, fact-checking and library operations since joining the organization in 1996. Prior to working at the Newseum, he started a business research information center at Earle Palmer Brown Advertising in Bethesda, Maryland. He helped start business units within the agency to provide database and interactive marketing services to EPB clients. He also established an information center for First Consulting Group, a healthcare management consulting firm based in Long Beach, California.
He earned a MSLS degree from Catholic University and an undergraduate degree in English Literature from California State University, Long Beach.
